About Us
After years of working in the auto restoration, customizing and collision repair industry, Bo Sowers decided to create a business uniquely his own for the auto enthusiast ~ one that would combine his diverse knowledge and experience with his love for muscle cars, classic, antique, street rods, resto mods and trucks, with a mission to preserve history for generations to come.
In 2001, American Classic Auto Restoration, Inc. ("ACAR") was established to offer top quality services, mixing hands-on craftsmanship with old-school techniques, and operating by old-fashioned standards.
For the last twenty years, ACAR has produced award-winning restorations, earning significant recognition on the local, state and national levels, including: SEMA/ARMO-Las Vegas, AACA Grand Nationals and numerous regional events, POCI Nationals, All-Ford Nationals, All-Chrysler Nationals, the Walter P. Chrysler Award, the SEMA Mother's Choice Award, the Daimler Chrysler Celebrity Pick. Their work has also garnered attention from the Detroit Autorama, Concours d'Elegance and World of Wheels, and has appeared in magazines and on television/media platforms.
